My name is Allan
Swicegood, I am the owner and President of Creative Machining
Solutions.
I began in the machine shop
business in 1986, as a part time job while in high school. I
continued to work while in college, after which I went fulltime.
In November 1997, Creative Machining was formed. To date, I have
over 20 years experience in the machine shop business. From its
beginning, Creative Machining has specialized in making the
parts that others deemed to difficult to make. We also do
reverse engineering to provide better solutions to problem areas
in your equipment. Let us help you achieve more.

This customer originally
brought us a helical gear with an arm brazed to it. They
asked us if we could make it as one piece. Never being one
to back down from a challenge, we said yes. A combined
effort of our lead machinist and programming software, we
made it on a three axis cnc knee mill. Over time we have
continued to refine this part and now make it in production.

This customer wanted to
reduce waste by morphing three styles of laminated molding
into one style that could produce several desired shapes
depending on what was cut away. We are taking this part from
concept to completion. There have been several revisions,
but the final version is just on the horizon. |

Parts Support |
Here we replace very
expensive OEM parts and fix any flaws that might have shown
up in the original design. Usually we can both cut cost and
improve performance. |
